Lead Me // A Prayer from Today's Psalms // August 5, 2025

In the morning, Lord, you hear my voice; in the morning I lift my soul to you. And I wait. Expectantly. Lord, lead me into your right-ness. Make your way straight before me. Rescue me from my inclination towards selfishness, apathy, harshness, and hypocrisy. My ugliness of spirit and selfishness of disloyalty overwhelm me. Only you can atone for my rebellious inclinations. Turn my soul toward praise and thankfulness for you. Satisfy my soul with the goodness of your Spirit, with holiness of your ever-present Presence. You are the God of my salvation, the hope of all my desires, the strength of all my struggles. Your are my God, my Maker, my Shepherd, my Rest. Do what is good in your eyes, my King!
