Protection and Promise // A Prayer from Today's Psalms // October 17, 2025

Lord, help me to trust that you see what is right for my life, that you arrange circumstances and people in my life according to you wisdom, goodness, and authority. Help me to remember that you know my heart and you know my hurt. Lord, you know my trouble and my weakness. Display in my life the wonders of your faithful love. In you I seek refuge against the pull of the world, the inclination toward rebellious self-idolatry and proud self-direction. Lord, protect me and hide me in the shadow of your wing, trusting in your promise to provide and guard me as your child. Restore my joy in you as Most High, our great King over the whole earth, ultimately reigning over the nations, and seated on your holy throne.

A Prayer based upon Psalms 17, 47, 77, 107, 137
